BEULAH CRUSE STROUD

Beulah Cruse Stroud, 88, passed away peacefully to be with her heavenly father Dec. 5, 2013.
She was born to Joseph and Mattie Cruse Jan. 30, 1925.
Beulah was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Stroud; parents, Joseph and Mattie Cruse; brother, Milton Cruse; and sisters, Alease Mozingo, Landora Lancaster and Peggy Tyson.
She is survived by her brother, William Cruse; sisters, Evelyn Ham, Jesse Combs and Dorothy Sutton (Phil); daughter, Joyce Soots (Pete); son, Billy Murray (Angie); daughter, Sylvia Melvin; stepson, Chris Stroud (Sherry); seven grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; and many loving nieces and nephews.
She retired from GE after 38 years of service.
As a family member and friend, she provided unconditional love and support, putting their needs before her own.
She attended Church of God for more than 60 years, and was a founding member of United in Christ Church, where she spent many joyful hours in service to her church.
A homegoing service will be held Sunday, Dec. 8, 2013, at 2:30 p.m. at United in Christ Church. Burial will follow at Wayne Memorial Park.
The family will receive friends prior to the
service beginning at
1:30 p.m.
