Mamie Lee Raynor Oates died peacefully at Wayne Memorial Hospital in Goldsboro, N.C., Nov. 3, 2013.
She was born April 29, 1924, to the late Mary Jane and S. Alexander Raynor in Selma, N.C.
She married James Elbert "Jack" Oates Jan. 6, 1939.
She was cherished by her family and friends.
Viewing will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 7, 2013, at R.L. Sanders Funeral Home at 806 E. Market St., Smithfield, N.C., 27577. Family will greet guests from 6 to 7 p.m.
Funeral services will be Friday, Nov. 8, at 1 p.m. at Bentonville Disciples of Christ Church, elder Deron McLamb, 8566 Devils Racetrack Road, Four Oaks, N.C., 27524. Bishop Charles Williams will officiate.
Flowers are welcome.
