LORENA LAMM GARVEY

Lorena Lamm Garvey, 84, died Sunday morning at Genesis Nursing Center in Mount Olive, N.C.
She was born in Duplin County, but was raised in Wayne County. She was the daughter of the late Frank and Sula B. Lamm of Wayne County.
She was preceded in death by two husbands, James S. Southerland and Joseph T. Garvey.
A graveside service will be held Tuesday, Sept. 24, 2013, at 3 p.m. in Maplewood Cemetery in Mount Olive, N.C., with the Rev. Jim Willoughby officiating.
The family will visit with friends after the service at the graveside.
Being a homemaker all of her life, in addition to Wayne County, she had lived in Lenoir, Pender and New Hanover counties.
She enjoyed being a volunteer with Huntington Nursing Rehab.
Lorena is survived by a brother, Wilbert Lamm of Warsaw, and two sisters, Evelyn Barwick of Goldsboro and Ruth Outlaw of Dudley.
