Douglas Monroe Allen, 50, passed away suddenly Tuesday, Aug. 13, 2013, at Wayne Memorial Hospital.
Doug was born in Guilford County Aug. 21, 1962, to Paula Ann Owens Allen and the late Randall Monroe Allen.
A service celebrating Doug's life will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 17, 2013, at Colonial Baptist Church in Trinity, N.C.
In addition to his mother, Doug is survived by his wife, Helen Lakey Allen, and son, Aaron Douglas Allen and wife, Sumiah.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Seymour Funeral Home and Cremations.
