Clifton Walter Edwards, 51, died Sunday at the VA Medical in Durham.
Funeral will be Saturday at 1 p.m. at First Baptist Church in Eureka, with the Rev. Fred Presley officiating. Burial will be in Hamilton Gardens in Wilson with military honors.
He was born Jan. 16, 1962, in Wayne County to Clifton and Luzianne Edwards.
Visitation will be Friday from 2 to 6 p.m., with the family present from 5 to 6 p.m., in the J.B. Rhodes Jr. Memorial Chapel at J.B. Rhodes Funeral Home and Cremations.
The family will receive friends at 308 Creech St., where it will assemble for the funeral procession.
