MILDRED BOGUE LANCASTER

DUDLEY -- Mildred Bogue Lancaster, 92, passed away early Friday morning at the home of her daughter in Dudley surrounded by her family.
Mildred was born in Wayne County on September 22, 1920, to the late Frank and Ella Lancaster Bogue. She was married to the late Ervin Daniel Lancaster. Mildred was a member of Mount Carmel United Methodist Church.
Funeral services will be held today at 3 p.m. at Mount Carmel United Methodist Church with the Rev. David Hollowell officiating. Burial will follow in Pikeville Cemetery.
Mrs. Lancaster is survived by her daughter Donna Kornegay of Dudley; son, Dwight Lancaster of Pikeville; grandchildren, Judy Sullivan and husband, Scott, Cindy Kornegay and husband, Robbie, and Lance Kornegay and wife, Jessica; and great-grandchildren, Skylar Barnes, Tyler Barnes, Jaden Sullivan, Chance Sullivan, Kayta Sullivan, Kelsey Kornegay, Caleb Kornegay, McKala Kornegay, Ashton Kornegay and Landon Kornegay. She is also survived by her brothers Frank Lee Bogue and wife, Betty Jean, of Fremont, Hugh Daniel Bogue and wife, Peggy, of Greensboro, and Thomas Bogue and wife, Glennie, of Saratoga.
In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by her sons Frankie Lancaster and William Ervin Lancaster; son-in-law, Linwood Kornegay; sisters, Annie Thompson, Ruth Mercer and Linda Killen; twin brother, Milton Bogue; and brother, William Bogue.
