INEZ HOLLIDAY ROYALL

MOUNT OLIVE -- Inez Holliday Royall, 81, resident of Mount Olive, passed away at Wayne Memorial Hospital on Thursday, May 16, 2013.
Inez was born in Wayne County on July 27, 1931, the daughter of the late Annie Marie Holliday Lawson. She was married to the late Granger B. Royall.
She attended Wayne County Public Schools. She spent her working career at Mount Olive Pickle Company, where she retired in 1989.
She was a devoted member of the Mother's Board, Pastor's Aide and Mission Circle of Mount Gilead Missionary Baptist Church in Mount Olive.
She is survived by four daughters, Doris R. Turner of the home, Cassandra R. Potter of Durham, N.C., Wanda B. Royall of Brooklyn, N.Y. and Shelia R. Bennett (Fred) of Durham, N.C.; three grandchildren, Rachford Potter Jr. of Queens, N.Y., Twinetta Taylor of Rockville, Md. and Kamal Bennett of Durham, N.C.; one great grandchild, D'Andre Taylor of Rockville, Md.; six brothers, James Holliday (Lauren) of Mount Olive, Jimmy Holliday, Thomas Holliday and Charles Holliday of Brooklyn, N.Y., Kenneth Holliday and Bobby Lawson of Goldsboro; two brothers who preceded her in death, David Holliday (Annie Mae) and Earl Stallings (Marie); a devoted Godson, James Carlton and a devoted Goddaughter, Joyce Bryant; a host of cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.
Viewing will be held Monday, May 20, 2013, from 3 to 7 p.m. at the funeral home.
A graveside service will be held at Carver Cemetery at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, May 21, 2013, with pastor Larry B. Faison presiding.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Mount Gilead Missionary Baptist Church in her memory.
