GEORGE "HOSS" PEELE

George Franklin "Hoss" Peele Jr., 79, went home to be with his Lord on Wednesday, March 6, 2013, at Wayne Memorial Hospital surrounded by his family.
George was born in Wayne County on Oct. 14, 1933, to the late George Franklin Peele and Clyde Smith Peele. He lived a life of dedication to his family and friends, and to his community. For over 24 years, George and his wife owned and operated George's Grill on Hwy. 13 North. He was a lifelong member of Woods Grove Pentecostal Free Will Baptist Church. George was a true sportsman, most comfortable outdoors, on the water or in the woods. He was a hunter of big and small game and loved walking in the woods and fields with a gun and with one of his beagles he had trained.
A service to celebrate Frank's life will be held on Friday at 7 p.m. in the chapel of Seymour Funeral Home with the Rev. Ronnie Weaver, the Rev. Morris Smith and the Rev. Cory Bolduc officiating. Interment will be Saturday at the Peele Family Cemetery, near the home, with the Rev. Barry Teague officiating.
Frank is survived by his wife of 61 years, Mary Lee Peele; his children, Mike Peele and wife, Teresa; Pam Smith and husband, Mark; Bonnie Bledsoe and husband, Richard, and Daryl Peele; sister, Shirley Peele Colley; grandchildren, Misty Deese and husband, Jeff, Jason Bolduc and wife, Ashley, Cory Bolduc and wife, Krystal, Brock Henderson and wife, Nely, and Brandon Bledsoe and wife, Akenia; seven great-grandchildren; two step-grandchildren and two step-great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends Friday from 6 to 7 p.m. and following the service at Seymour Funeral Home and other times at his home.
