EUREKA -- Frederick E. West, 82, Eureka, died Sunday, Nov. 4, 2012.
Fred was a retired communications specialist in the United States Navy.
Funeral will be Tuesday at 11 a.m. at Wilson Memorial Service, 2811 Fieldstream Drive North in Wilson, followed by visitation. Interment will be in Elmwood Cemetery in Fremont.
He is survived by his wife, Ann Holland West; daughter, Linda Langley and husband, David, of Greenville; grandson, Brent Langley and wife, Janet, of Greenville ;and great-granddaughter, Amanda Langley.
He was preceded in death by two brothers, Princeton and Earl West.
The family would like to express its appreciation for the care and support given to Fred and his family by Dr. Samer Kasbari and Dr. Mark LaFave and the staff of Kitty Askins Hospice Center.
