Ben Lewis, 81, 500 E. Elm St., died Saturday morning at Wayne Memorial Hospital.
Funeral will be Friday at 11 a.m. at St. Mark Church of Christ Disciples of Christ, with bishop Alton A. Smith officiating. Burial will be in Old Mill Cemetery.
He was born Oct. 22, 1930, in Wayne County to the late Willie Lewis and Ruby Smith Lewis.
He is survived by his wife.
Visitation will be Thursday from 2 to 8:30 p.m. in the J.B. Rhodes Jr. Memorial Chapel at J.B. Rhodes Funeral Home and Cremations, with the family present from 7 to 8:30 p.m., during which time Masonic Rites will be held.
At other times, the family will receive friends at the home of his sister, Gertrude Daye, 521 Eason St., where it will also assemble in preparation for the funeral processional.
