Steven Lamont Artis died Wednesday at Wayne Memorial Hospital.
He was born on Nov. 15, 1960, in Wayne County to the late Odell Whitley and Annie Artis Barnes, who survives.
He is survived by his wife and children.
Visitation will be Saturday from 4 to 7 p.m. at the funeral home and at other times at 403 Woodhill Drive. Funeral will be 2 p.m. Sunday at Elm Grove Church Ministries, Pikeville. Burial will be at Hooks Grove Church Cemetery.
E. M. Matthews Funeral Home and Cremation is in charge of arrangements.
