The funeral for Retired Sgt. Maj. William Atwood Best will be Monday at 1 p.m. at St. James Disciples Church, located at 514 Memorial Church St., Fremont.
The wake will be from 2 until 6 p.m. today, with the family present from 5 until 6 p.m.
Hamilton Funeral Home is entrusted with the service, 423 S. James St.
