THOMAS L. WEEKS

Mr. Thomas L. Weeks, 606 E. Holly St., Apt A., Goldsboro, was born March 30, 1944, in Goldsboro.
He departed this earthly journey May 24, 2012.
He was the son of Mr. Festus Weeks of Pittsburg, Pa., and the late Mrs. Elizabeth Herring.
Thomas graduated from Dillard High School of Goldsboro in 1961. He enlisted in the United States Army in 1962, and was honorably discharged in 1965.
He retired from Celotex Corp. after 20 years of employment.
He is survived by his father, Festus Weeks of Pittsburg, Pa.; his three children, Mr. and Mrs. Lamar and Lisa Robinson of the home, Mr. and Mrs. Antoinette and Malik Shabazz of Houston, Texas, and Ms. Avita Weeks of Goldsboro; two grandchildren, Shyheem and Malaila Shabazz; sister, Shirley Weeks of Pittsburgh, Pa.; and a host of family and friends.
Memorial services will be held Wednesday at 11 a.m. at E.M. Matthews Life Celebration Chapel.
The family will receive friends following the services.
Mr. Weeks and his precious family are in the hallmark care at E.M. Matthews Funeral Home.
