Emma Jean Simmons, 76, died Sunday at Wayne Memorial Hospital.
Funeral will be Friday at 11 a.m. from the chapel of Howell Funeral Home and Crematory. Interment will be at Wayne Memorial Park.
She was born in Georgia March 31, 1936, to the late Levie and Essie Mae Graham Williams. She was married to the late Clarence James Simmons.
She is survived by a son and a daughter.
Visitation will be Thursday from 4 to 7 p.m., with the family present from 6 to 7 p.m., at Howell Funeral Home and Crematory in Goldsboro.
Howell Funeral Home and Crematory is handling the arrangements.
