JAMES "TOP" MCKIVER

MAGNOLIA -- James "Top" McKiver, 79, 1228 S. N.C. 50, died Saturday at Vidant Medical Center.
Born in Duplin County, he was the son of the late Roberta McKiver and Solomon Outlaw. He was married to Verta McKiver.
Funeral service will be Saturday at 1 p.m. at New First Baptist Church Kenansville, with the Rev. Tommie Jones, officiating. Burial will be in Dobson Cemetery.
He is survived by three daughters.
Visitation will be today from 4 to 7 p.m. at Garris Funeral Home Chapel, and an hour prior to funeral service at the church Saturday.
