PIKEVILLE -- Randy Keith Lancaster, 58, Daw Pate Road, passed away Monday at Kitty Askins Hospice Center.
The family will receive friends Wednesday from 2 to 3 p.m. at Shackleford-Howell Funeral Home in Fremont, with a graveside service following at Lancaster-Pate Cemetery, intersection of Forehand Road and Airport Road in Pikeville.
Family will receive friends at other times at the home of his brother, Nicky Lancaster at 3999 U.S. 117 North, Goldsboro.
Mr. Lancaster was born in Wayne County Aug. 5, 1953, to the late Ralph Haywood and Doris Herring Lancaster.
Mr. Lancaster was employed as a professional painter.
He had a passion for arrowhead hunting, and was an avid University of North Carolina Tarheel fan.
He is survived by a daughter, Susan Murray and husband, Lee, of Fremont; a brother, Nicky Lancaster and wife, Jane, of Goldsboro; a sister, Janice Casey and husband, Cecil, of Pikeville; two grandchildren, Devin and Ashton; a host of nieces and nephews; and great-nephews, Austin and Darren.
He was preceded in death by a brother, Eddie Haywood Lancaster.
