CALYPSO -- Joan Grubbs Jennette, 76, died Friday, Nov. 25, at Wayne Memorial Hospital.
Funeral services for Ms. Jennette will be held on Monday, Nov. 28, at 11 in the morning at Tyndall Funeral Home in Mount Olive with Dr. Greg Day officiating. Burial will follow at Devotional Gardens of Warsaw. The family will receive friends today, at the funeral home from 3 until 5 p.m., and at other times at the home of Ms. Jennette in Calypso.
She is survived by two nephews, Steve Herring and wife, Gail, and family of Calypso and Mike Herring and wife, Brenda, and family of Winterville. She also leaves behind a special pet companion, "Lily." Ms. Jennette was preceded in death by her parents, H.E. and Olivia Pickett Grubbs; her husband, Buck Jennette; a sister, Ellen G. Herring, and brother-in-law, Jack Herring.
