FREMONT -- John Harvey Barnes Sr., 64, died Saturday at Fremont Rest Home.
A private service will be held at a later date.
Mr. Barnes was born in Virginia to the late Harvey Barnes and Elizabeth Campbell Barnes.
He is survived by two children.
The family is being served by Shackleford-Howell Funeral Home in Fremont.
