Charles E. Best, 64, 402 S. William St., died Saturday morning at home.
Funeral will be held Friday at 11 a.m. in the James "Tommy" Haskins Memorial Chapel at Haskins Funeral Home of Goldsboro. Burial will be in Old Mill Cemetery.
He was the husband of the late Vivian Thompson Best.
He is survived by four children.
Visitation will be Thursday from 2 to 6 p.m. at the funeral home.
The family will assemble at the home one hour prior to the service in preparation for the funeral procession.
