KINSTON -- Mary Louise "Tootsie" Stroud, 75, of Kinston, died Friday.
A service of remembrance will be held today at 4 p.m. at Rouse Funeral Home with the Rev. Rod Dorn officiating. Interment will be Monday at 10 a.m. at Pinelawn Memorial Park with the Rev. Brad Mitchell officiating.
Tootsie was born in Duplin County to the late B.P. and Mary Louise Stroud Waters. Tootsie was preceded in death by her husband, Furney Stroud. One son survives.
The family will receive friends today following the service, and at other times they will be at 624 Jessie T. Bryan Road, Kinston.
