ALFRED G. WHITE II

Alfred Gordon White II, 2053 New Hope Road, died Sunday at Kitty Askins Hospice Center in Goldsboro.
Born in Washing-ton, D.C., he was the son of the late Alfred Gordon White and Violet Donaldson White.
He was a service writer for Shelton's Harley-Davidson, and a veteran of the United States Army. He served during the Korean Conflict, and was a POW during that time.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 7 p.m. at Shumate-Faulk Funeral Home chapel, with the Rev. Emmitt Jones and pastor Jeff Dail officiating. Entombment will be at a later date at Wayne Memorial Park.
Family members will greet friends Wednesday evening at Shumate-Faulk Funeral Home immediately following the funeral service, and at other times will be at the home.
Mr. White is survived by his wife, Jean Casey Mozingo White; a son, Alfred Gordon White III and wife, Amber Howell White, of Goldsboro; a stepdaughter, Terry Head of LaGrange, N.C.; a grandson, Caleb Ethan White of Goldsboro; a brother, John Francis Milano of Buffalo, N.Y.; two sisters, Yvonne Gladys Woods of South Hackensack, N.J., and Margaret Rosanne McIlveen of Secaucus, N.J.; and a special friend, Mark Johnson of Goldsboro.
