CHESAPEAKE, Va. -- Liza Marie Tucker Aycock, 72, passed away on Friday at Norfolk General Hospital in Norfolk, Va.
Graveside services will be held today, Sept. 4, at 3:30 p.m. at White Oak Cemetery in Goldsboro.
Mrs. Aycock was born in Wayne County on Jan. 15, 1939, to the late Joseph Jesse Tucker Sr. and Trudy Jernigan. Liza worked as a warehouse specialist with Boise Office Products.
Mrs. Aycock is survived by her husband, Paul Aycock, daughters, Debbie Eckerman and husband, Clark, of Houston, Texas; Terri Hare and husband, Buck, of Chesapeake, Va. Her grandchildren, Jeremy Wilson, Virginia Sweeten, Kathy Rubio, Kirby Taylor; great-grandchildren, Alexis Wilson, Caden Wilson, Olivia Sweeten, and Madison Rubio. She is survived by her brothers and sisters, Joe Jesse, Elouise, Judy, Sherby, and Jenny. In addition to her family, Mrs. Aycock is survived by her cherished canine companion, Cody.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her step-mother, Addie Mae Tucker. She is also preceded in death by her brothers Earl, and Ernest, and a sister, Linda.
The family will receive friends from 2 until 3 p.m. at Seymour Funeral Home, 1300 Wayne Memorial Drive, Goldsboro.
