GENE B. LETTS
March 17, 1935-Aug. 30, 2011
Gene "Geno" Bradley Letts, 76, passed away Tuesday, Aug. 30, 2011, at Wayne Memorial Hospital.
Gene was born in Cecil County, Md., March 17, 1935.
He served his country in the United States Air Force with 20 years of service, and later retired as a supervisor for the Air Force pipelines.
Gene was a member of Goldsboro Masonic Lodge No. 639 AF&AM.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, Sept. 1, 2011, at 7 p.m. in the chapel of Seymour Funeral Home, with the Rev. Ralph Johnson officiating. Interment will be Friday, Sept. 2, 2011, at 11 a.m. at Jones Family Cemetery at 3651 Salem Church Road, Goldsboro, with full military honors.
Gene is survived by his wife, Ann Jones Letts; his sons, Gene Letts Jr. and wife, Jackie, of Alaska, Carl Letts of Goldsboro, Robbie Letts and wife, Lora, of Raleigh and Patrick Letts and wife, Susan, of Wendell; his eight grandchildren; and a great-grandson.
Flowers are welcome or memorials may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital at 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, Tenn., 38105, or Kitty Askins Hospice Center at 107 Handley Park Court, Goldsboro, N.C., 27534.
The family will receive friends Thursday following the service, and other times at the residence at 109 Hillview Lane in Belfast community.
