MARGUERITE MCCULLEN BASDEN

ANGIER — Marguerite McCullen Basden, 82, 336 N. Broad St., passed away Monday at her home.

She retired from Bell South after many years of service, and was a former employee of Bryan-Lee Funeral Home in Angier.

Funeral services will be conducted Friday at 10 a.m. in the chapel of Bryan-Lee Funeral Home in Angier. Burial fill follow at Faison Cemetery in Faison.

Surviving are her daughter, Rita Fulmer and husband, Kenny, of Angier; grandchildren, Traci Musgrave of Smithfield and Justin Fulmer of Angier; sisters, Hepsie Tesh of Cornelius, N.C., Ada Honeycutt and husband, Jerry, of Autryville, N.C., Lila Hollingsworth and husband, Morton, of Chesterfield, Va., and Sylvia Baumgartner and husband, Roger, of Cayucos, Calif.; and brother, Odell McCullen and wife, Phyllis, of Kansas City, Mo.

She was preceded in death by brothers, Clay and Joe McCullen, and sister-in-law, Katrina McCullen.

The family will receive friends Thursday from 6 to 8 p.m. at Bryan-Lee Funeral Home in Angier, and at other times at the home.
