PAMELA BELINDA HARVEY
July 15, 1949-April 20, 2011
FREMONT -- Pamela Belinda Harvey, 409 Sycamore St., Fremont, was born to the late Atha Irene Jones July 15, 1949, in Wayne County, where she was raised and educated. She humbly submitted to the master's call from labor to reward April 20 at Pitt County Memorial Hospital.
Pamela worked at Export Tobacco Factory in Wilson, N.C., for more than 44 years.
She leaves to cherish her memory and legacy of love to her partner, friend and husband of 40 years, William Henry Harvey Jr. of the home; a son, Dedric Delmar Harvey of Goldsboro, N.C.; two daughters, Kimberly Renee Davis of Fremont, N.C., and Lakeshia Martin (Willie) of Fayetteville, N.C.; a brother, K.C. Davie (Louise) of Virginia Beach, Va.; a sister, Tanya Irene Battle of Fremont, N.C.; six grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.
A viewing will be held today from 4 to 7 p.m. at the funeral home, with family present to receive friends from 6 to 7 p.m.
A service of remembrance will be held Thursday at 1 p.m. at Greater Morning Star Church in Fremont. After which, the E.M. Matthews classic angelic white fleet will escort Ms. Harvey's delicate temple, along with her beloved family, to Fremont Cemetery for interment rites.
