DORIS R. BECTON

Doris Faye Robbins Becton passed away Monday, April 25, 2011, at her home.
Doris was born in Nash County March 19, 1939, to the late Ralph and Melva Bradshaw Robbins. She was married to the late Ralph Neal Becton.
Doris was a graduate of East Carolina University. She had a great love for kids, and worked as a teacher for 32 years, retiring with the Wayne County Public School System.
Graveside services will be held Wednesday at 2 p.m. at Evergreen Memorial Cemetery, with the Rev. Jerry Mitchell and Bill Garner officiating.
The family will greet friends following the service at the cemetery.
Doris is survived by her sons, Neal Becton and wife, Gina, of Apex, Gary Becton and Jean Capps of Goldsboro; her grandchildren, Andrew Becton, Leah Becton and Julia Becton; her brother, David Robbins of Roanoke Rapids; and her aunt, Betty Wampler of Goldsboro.
