PIKEVILLE -- Annie Margie Hatcher, 73, died Wednesday evening at her home.
Born in Wayne County, she was the daughter of the late James and Annie Keen Ferrell, and the wife of James Stewart Hatcher.
A memorial service to celebrate her life will be held Saturday at 2 p.m. in the chapel of Shumate-Faulk Funeral Home, with the Rev. Doug Seymour officiating.
The family will receive friends following the service at the funeral home.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Jerry Neal and Emma W. Sexton of Goldsboro; two daughters and sons-in-law, Danny and Sherry Bordeaux of Goldsboro and Ernie L. and Carla D. Head of Goldsboro; a sister, Faye Smith of Dudley; three brothers and sisters-in-law, James Ray and Mary Francis Ferrell of Goldsboro, Thomas and Arlie Ferrell of Pikeville and Gerald and Virginia Ferrell of Pikeville; five grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.
The family requests that, in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions be directed to Blended Fellowship Church, 2091 Big Daddy's Road, Pikeville, N.C., 27863.
