Miguel A. Rodriguez Jr., 69, passed away on Thursday, April 14, 2011, at Wayne Memorial Hospital.
A memorial service will be held today, April 17, 2011, at 2 p.m. at the chapel of Seymour Funeral Home with the Rev. Gary Bailey officiating. The family will receive friends following the service.
Miguel was born in Bronx, N.Y., on Aug. 17, 1941, to the late Miguel Angel Rodriguez Sr. and Cecilia Rennie Rodriguez Ferrari. He served his country in the United States Marines. Miguel later worked at the Rosewood Wal-Mart as a people greeter for two years and CSS for one year. He also attended Stoney Creek Free Will Baptist Church.
Miguel is survived by his wife, Patricia H. Rodriguez; his son, Scott Rodriguez and wife, Megan Rodriguez; his sister, Veronica Rodriguez; his granddaughter, Amber L. Rodriguez; his step-grandson, Kevin W. Campbell II; his honorary grandchildren, Seth Jordan and MacKenzie Jordan.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Ann Rodriguez, and his brother, George Rodriguez; and his stepmother, Mercedes Rodriguez.
