Mother Annie Bell Griffin Mitchell, 93, 606 Wilmington Ave., passed away Wednesday morning at Kitty Askins Hospice.
The triumphant homegoing service will be held Saturday at 11 a.m. at New Stoney Hill United Holy Church, with elder Howard E. McNair officiating. Interment will follow in Elmwood Cemetery.
Precious memories are left to her husband, Hezzie Lee Mitchell of the home; and her children Clara Forte, Adene McIntyre, Angeline Griffin and Benjimin Anthony Griffin of Goldsboro, Thomas Harold Griffin of Elizabethtown and James Edward Griffin of Washington, D.C.
Visitation will be Friday from 3 to 6 p.m. at McIntyre Funeral Home Ministries.
In addition to the residence, the family will receive friends at 410 Orange St.
The family will assemble at 410 Orange St. in preparation for the funeral service.
