TIMOTHY JUDE KEEFE

HOUSTON, Texas -- Timothy "Timmy" Jude Keefe, a longtime resident of Wayne County, passed away Dec. 28, 2010, in Houston, Texas.
Timmy was born in Malone, N.Y., Nov. 21, 1961, to the late Kenneth Charles Keefe and Elizabeth Odom Keefe.
He lived his early years in Kinston before moving to Goldsboro.
Timmy was a 1980 graduate of Southern Wayne High School.
He was employed by J.P. Stevens for a number of years, before going to work at Snow Hill Tape Co.
His family loves and misses him.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Patrick J. Keefe; a niece, Wendy April Keefe; his grandparents; and several aunts and uncles.
He is survived by his son, Justin Lambert Keefe of Goldsboro; his former wife and the mother of his son, Vicky Worley of Goldsboro; his brother, Michael J. Keefe of Milledgeville, Ga.; sisters, Katherine Jernigan and husband, Rex, of Pikeville and Rita Boyette and friend, Rexie, of Deep Run; sister-in-law, Corliss Keefe of Dudley; nieces, Melissa J. Carter and husband, Patrick, of Sanford, Meg J. Kidd and husband, Jeff, of Pikeville, Crystal Pickett and husband, Jeremy, of Kinston, Laura Boyette of Kinston, Amber Tyndall of Mount Olive and Sharon Williams and husband, Drew, of Wilmington; and nephew, Joey Keefe and wife, Holly, of Spring Hope. He is also survived by an aunt, Betty Jo Bass and husband, Mack, of Kinston, as well as several cousins, great nieces and nephews.
