Annie Long Taylor, 92, passed away peacefully at Wayne Memorial Hospital Feb. 18.
Funeral services will be held today, Feb. 20, at 4 p.m. at the chapel of Howell Funeral Home. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Burial will follow at Wayne Memorial Park.
She volunteered at Cherry Hospital until the age of 89. Mrs. Taylor was preceded in death by her husband, Rudy Bruce Taylor; five brothers; and two sisters.
She is survived by three daughters of Goldsboro, Betty Walker, Peggy Luna and Carol Powers; one son, Kenneth Taylor of Raleigh; eight grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; and one sister, Evelyn Williams of Goldsboro.
