RALPH A. WIGGINS

GRANTHAM -- Ralph A. Wiggins, 83, Grantham community, passed away Tuesday at Wake Medical Center.
Born in Wayne County, he was the son of the late Lawton W. and Floye Ezzell Wiggins.
He was a member of Brogden United Methodist Church, a retired truck driver and a veteran of the United States Army.
Funeral services will be held Friday at 2 p.m. at Brogden United Methodist Church, with the Rev. Uiyeon Kim officiating. Burial will follow in Wayne Memorial Park.
Mr. Wiggins is survived by his wife, Mary Jo Wiggins; a son, John Lawton Wiggins of Mount Olive; a brother, Morris Wiggins and wife, Elsie, of Mount Olive; a sister-in-law, Helen Wiggins of Mount Olive; and a granddaughter, Miranda Lynn "Monk" Wiggins and fiancé, Dustin Taylor, of Mount Olive.
Family members will greet friends Thursday evening from 7 to 9 p.m. at Shumate-Faulk Funeral Home, and at other times at the home.
The family requests that in lieu of flowers, memorial gifts be directed to Brogden United Methodist Church, 2918 U.S. 117, Dudley, N.C., 28333.
