Elizabeth Cox Coor, 77, 705 Isler St., Goldsboro, was born to Marshall Cox and James Cox Aug. 28, 1933, in Pikeville, N.C. She slipped into eternal rest at her home Sunday.
She is survived her children, Minnie D. Coley of Goldsboro, N.C., Estella Coley Parker of Raleigh, N.C., and Alghe Coley of Newark, N.J.; seven grandchildren, Gaynelle Coley Daniels of Durham, N.C., Phelecia Henderson of Washington, D.C., Deania R. Coley of Goldsboro, N.C., Chandrika McCall of Huntersville, N.C., O'Detha A. Newsome of Durham, N.C., Alaric Coley and Fernando Coley of Florida; a very special sister-in-law of the home, Sandra B. Cox ;and a host of family and friends.
A viewing will be held Friday from 4 to 7 p.m. at Goldsboro Chapel Church, with family present to receive friends from 6 to 7 p.m.
A triumphant celebration of life service will take place Saturday at 12 noon also at Goldsboro Chapel Church. After which, Ms. Coor's delicate temple, along with her adored family, will be escorted to Wayne Memorial Park for Interment rites. For it is now that Ms. Elizabeth has received her crown of righteousness, and is sitting somewhere around her master's throne telling her savior how she made it over.
