SUSIE GRAY GARNER STANLEY

PIKEVILLE -- Susie Gray Garner Stanley, 60, passed away Tuesday, Oct. 12, 2010, from injuries sustained in an automobile accident.
A memorial service will be held today at 3:30 p.m. at the chapel of Howell Funeral Home and Crematory in Goldsboro. The family will receive friends beginning at 2 p.m.
Mrs. Stanley was born in Wayne County on July 2, 1950, to the late Rodolph and Juanita Kornegay Garner. She was a member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses.
She leaves to cherish her memories three sons, Tremonteo Ray Stanley Sr. and wife, Shareese, of Pikeville, DeCarlos Orlando Stanley of Durham and Cedric Jules Stanley of Pikeville; one daughter, Mirranda Antoinette Stanley Jones and husband, Gary, of Wendell; one brother, Rodolph Garner of Goldsboro; one sister, Josephine Garner of Goldsboro; 10 grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
In addition to her parents, Mrs. Stanley was preceded in death by her husband, Alaska Ray Stanley.
