SELMA -- Ozelle Rose, 96, of Selma, died Saturday, Sept. 25, 2010.
Born in Johnston County April 14, 1914, she was the daughter of Charles Gurney and Susan Caroline Lawhorn Rose.
She was a lifelong member of Tee's Chapel Free Will Baptist Church.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 2 p.m. in Tee's Chapel Free Will Baptist Church, with burial following in the church cemetery.
Surviving are a daughter, Linda Sullivan of Selma; a son, Bobby Johnson and wife, Sandra, of Abilene, Texas; niece, Geraldine Parrish of Selma; brother, James Rose of Roxboro; four grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and a great-great-grandchild.
The family will receive friends at Parrish Funeral Home in Selma Tuesday night from 6 to 8 p.m.
