Colleen Horne Aldridge, 74, died Friday at Wayne Memorial Hospital. Born in Wayne County, she was the daughter of the late Clarence and Ruby Thomas Horne and wife of the late Wesley Aldridge Jr.
A memorial service will be held Tuesday at 4 p.m. in the chapel of Shumate-Faulk Funeral Home. Family members will greet friends at the funeral home immediately following the service. Burial will be at a later date in Willowdale Cemetery.
Mrs. Aldridge is survived by her children, B.W. Aldridge and Susan Aldridge; a brother, William Horne; two grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
