Anthony Donte Howard was born Nov. 25, 1984, to the late Gertrude and James Howard. He departed this walk of life Sunday, Aug. 29, 2010, at Pitt Memorial Hospital at 4:55 p.m.
Mr. Howard was employed at Case Farm of Dudley, and well loved by his peers.
Left to mourn his loss are son, Zymir Howard of Dudley, N.C.; three sisters, Latoria N. Fuller of Pikeville, N.C., Kayla Howard of Winston-Salem, N.C., and Gwen Stevens of Goldsboro, N.C.; three brothers, James Howard and Retho Howard both of Goldsboro, N.C., and Jimmy Stevens of Charlotte, N.C.; grandmother, Thelma Newsome of Goldsboro N.C.; a special friend, Josey Daughtry; along with a host of other relatives and friends.
A viewing for Mr. Howard will be held today from 4 to 8 p.m. at E.M. Matthews Funeral Home & Cremations Inc. A service of remembrance will take place Saturday at 1 p.m. at New Spirit Church Ministries. Mr. Howard's earthly temple will be laid to rest in Old Mill Cemetery.
