WILLIE "IKE" NEWSOME

A celebration of life for Mr. Willie "Ike" Newsome, 61, 212 Herbert St., who passed Friday, July 30, 2010, at Pitt Memorial Hospital, will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 7, 2010, at Rhodes Funeral Home chapel, with the Rev. Harrington as eulogist. He will be laid to rest in Old Mill Cemetery.
He was born Aug. 27, 1948, to the late Eddie Newsome and Clarice Speight.
He leaves precious memories with a brother and two sisters.
There will be a viewing held today from noon to 5 p.m. at Rhodes Funeral Home chapel, and a wake held from 10 a.m. until the hour of the service Saturday.
A sympathetic and dignified service entrusted to Rhodes Funeral Home of Goldsboro.
