PIKEVILLE -- Denise Kidd Head, 57, Fort Run Road, died Thursday at Lenior Memorial Hospital in Kinston.
A service to celebrate her life will be held Saturday at 3 p.m. from the chapel of Howell Funeral Home & Crematory in Goldsboro. The family will receive friends afterwards.
Mrs. Head was born in Newport News, Va., Nov. 10, 1952, to the late Charlie and Penina Fulk Kidd. She was the widow of Zell D. Head.
She is survived by one child.
