Emma Greene McKenzie was born Jan. 27, 1919, in Wayne County and Wednesday she departed this life at Wayne Memorial Hospital.
Celebration of life services for Mrs. Mckenize will be held Saturday at 11 a.m. at Best Grove Missionary Baptist Church, 1065 Tommy's Road in Goldsboro. She will be laid to rest at Croom Cemetery for committal rites.
Visitation for Mrs. Emma McKenzie will be held at E. M. Matthews Funeral Home and Cremations Inc. today from 2 to 8 p.m.
Mrs. McKenzie's earthen vessel is peacefully resting at E.M. Matthews Funeral Home and Cremations Inc., 401 N. William St. in Goldsboro, 735-2775, www.emmatthewsfuneral home.com.
