Charles Thaddeus "Bud" Raiford, 58, 103 Earnest Ave., peacefully departed this life Thursday at Wayne Memorial Hospital.
A homegoing celebration will be held Sunday at 3 p.m. at St. James AME Zion Church, 206 S. George St. Burial will be in Wayne Memorial Park.
He is survived by his wife, Evangeline Raiford; his children, Corrie Raiford (Latonya), Rondray Raiford, Quavonda Scott (Fares) and Zoe Brown; grandchildren, Shamar CVrumbley, Aniya Raiford, Corrie Raiford Jr., Jordan Raiford and Kamryn Raiford; several aunts; and a host of other relatives and friends.
A viewing will be held Saturday at 2 p.m. with the family receiving friends from 6 to 7 p.m. at Hamilton Funeral Chapel. At other times, the family will receive friends at his residence, 103 Earnest Ave. in Goldsboro.
