LAGRANGE -- Carolyn Anna Griswold, 71, 2690 New Hope Road, quietly passed from labor to reward Thursday.
Her life and memory will celebrated Saturday at 11 a.m. at Holly Hill Church of Christ, Disciples of Christ, Church in Best Station. Her mortal frame will be laid to rest in Old Mill Cemetery.
Anna was the beloved daughter of the late James and Artensa Lofton.
Precious and sacred memories are cherished by her children, Linda (Dail) Williams of Fayetteville, Anita (Donnell) Hamilton of Pikeville, Larry (Patricia) Griswold and Andrey Griswold of LaGrange; three nieces and one nephew, who were raised as her own children, Barbara (Gilbert) Bell of Georgia, Sonja (Dean) Thompson of Goldsboro, Toni Griswold of LaGrange and Herbert Wallace of LaGrange; sisters, Jean Wallace of White Plains, N.Y., and Emma Griswold of Goldsboro; six grandchildren, Travanti, Taurean, Donnell and Kiri of Pikeville and Titania and Larry Griswold Jr. of LaGrange.
She was preceded in the silent chambers of death by a daughter, Alisa Ann Griswold.
Visitation will be Friday from 2 to 6 p.m. at McIntyre Funeral Home Ministries of Goldsboro.
The family will receive friends at 2689 New Hope Road, where they also assemble in preparation for the funeral procession.
