PRINCETON -- The homegoing celebration for Kay Frances Joyner will be held Saturday. A wake will be held from 11 a.m. to noon. Services will be held at noon at St. Stephens Church of Christ, Disciple of Christ in Princeton, with elder Joe N. Clark officiating.
A public viewing will be held today from 3 to 7 p.m. at Hamilton Funeral Chapel Inc., 423 S. James St. in Goldsboro.
The final interment will occur at Wayne Memorial Park North, 1191 Old Grantham Road in Goldsboro.
She is survived by her daughters, Katie B. Blount (Alvin) and Bronnie D. Brooks (significant other, James Wallace); sons, Timothy R. Joyner (Dallice) and Anthony W. Joyner (Deanna); brothers, Albert B. Grandy Sr. and Horace A. Grandy; sisters, Bernice Houston (Jacob), Agnes J. Canady (Jaycee), Carolyn A. Bryant (Adolphus), Emma J. Grandy and Daisy G. Brown; 10 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
