MOUNT OLIVE -- Forrest Thomas "Buddy" Dail, 61, died early Sunday morning.
Services will be Tuesday at 1 p.m. at Stanford Presbyterian Church with the Rev. Christopher Turner officiating. Interment will immediately follow in the Claude Dail Family Cemetery.
The family will receive friends today from 6 until 8 p.m. at Stanford Church, and at other times at the Dail homeplace, 371 Red Hill Road, Mount Olive.
Buddy was a lifelong member of Stanford Presbyterian Church and was named as a special elder. He was the son of the late Forrest Dail and Lela "Tiny" Swinson Dail.
He is survived by his sisters and brothers-in-law, Evelyn Ann Dail Stringer and Barry Stringer, with whom he made his home, Ruth Dail Cooper and Dean Cooper of Mount Olive, and Emily Susan Dail Walters and William Walters of Fayetteville; a niece, Jennifer Cooper Byrd of Mount Olive; two nephews, Forrest Barry "Pete" Stringer of Mount Olive, and Stephen Dail Cooper of Greenville, and their families.
