LINWOOD E. SYKES

SUITLAND, Md. -- Linwood E. Sykes, beloved father of Lynnita and Bryan Sykes and Lenora Sykes Calloway (Cleophas) died Dec. 9.
The funeral was held Monday at 11 a.m. at Heart Church Ministries, 4949 Allentown Road in Suitland, Md. A viewing was held at 10 a.m. Interment was at Ft. Lincoln Cemetery.
He was born in Goldsboro.
He is survived by five grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; his mother, Margaret Sykes; two brothers, Bernard Langston and Dennis Junious; a sister, Jacquelyn Henderson; and a host of other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his father, Willie Langston.
Arrangements were by Hodges and Edwards Funeral Home of Suitland, Md.
