ARTHUR M. SHEETS

Arthur McKinley Sheets, 73, passed away on Thursday at Wayne Memorial Hospital.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, Nov. 11, 2009, at 2 p.m. in the chapel of Seymour Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Fairview Cemetery in LaGrange with full military honors.
Mr. Sheets was born in Wheeling, W.Va., on Aug. 29, 1936, to the late Elmer C. Sheets and Elsie Berisford Sheets. He was retired from the United States Air Force and had served his country during the Vietnam War. Mr. Sheets was a Shriner.
Mr. Sheets is survived by his wife, Elise Smith Sheets; his daughter, Karen Swisher and husband, Bob, of Fremont; his grandchildren, Michael Sheets of Rosewood and Pamela Lynne Swisher of Fremont; his sisters, Wilda Dunn of Wheeling, W.Va., and Angela Sheets of Wheeling, W.Va.; his stepsons, Robert Morawski, Michael Morawski and wife, Brenda, and Mark Mor-awski; his sister-in-law, Velma Sheets; and several other grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Arthur Eugene Sheets; his first wife, Evelyn Wilson Sheets, and his brother, Chester Sheets.
The family will receive friends Tuesday, Nov. 10, 2009, from 6 until 8 p.m. at Seymour Funeral Home.
