Annie Cox quietly entered into eternal rest Sunday at Sentara Burn and Trauma Center in Norfolk, Va.
Celebration of life services will be held Saturday at 1 p.m. at Shacklefree Ministries in Goldsboro, with pastor Ray Williams officiating. Final resting will take place in Rest Haven Cemetery in Dudley.
Mrs. Cox is survived by her husband, Dennis Cox of Goldsboro; one daughter, Stephanie Hines-Elliott of Goldsboro; three sons: Kevin Hines and Leslie Hines both of Goldsboro and Stuart Hines of Hampton, Va.; three brothers, Larry Wade Jr., Carl Lee Wade and Jimmy Wade all of Goldsboro; four sisters, Joann Wade Greenfield of Killeen, Texas, Diane Wade Lassiter of LaGrange, Shelia Wade of Baltimore, Md., and Sharon Wade Kornegay of Goldsboro; and eight grandchildren.
Visitation for Mrs. Cox will be held today from 2 to 8 p.m. at E.M. Matthews Funeral Home and Cremations Inc. of Goldsboro.
Her earthly temple is peacefully resting at E.M. Matthews Funeral Home and Cremations, 401 N. William St., Goldsboro.
