Macie Langston Sauls, 96, of 225 Herbert St., went to be with her Lord and Savior Thursday, Sept. 24, 2009, at Brian Center.
Funeral services will be Wednesday, Sept. 30, 2009, at 11 a.m. at St. John Holy Church, 1432 Fort Run Road, Snow Hill. Elder Michael Artis, pastor, will officiate.
Interment will follow at Old Mill Cemetery on Central Heights Road. A pubic viewing will be held Tuesday from 3 until 8 p.m. at Hamilton Funeral Chapel, 423 S. James St., with the family greeting friends there from 7 until 8 p.m.
She is survived by three daughters, Ada Blount of Goldsboro, Lillie Newman and Barbara S. (Geoffery) Wimbush of Alexandria, Va.; four sons, James Melvin of Havelock, Samuel (Ann) Sauls of Springdale Md., Richard (Eunice) Sauls of Columbia, S.C, and Edward Earl (Elon) Sauls of Charlotte; one granddaughter, Debra (Larry) Carlisle of Goldsboro.
