GLENN TAYLOR

BENSON -- D. Glenn Taylor, 61, passed away suddenly Monday.
Funeral services will be held tonight at 7 in the chapel of Seymour Funeral Home, with the Rev. Bill Rose officiating. Interment will be Friday at 11 a.m. at Wayne Memorial Park.
Glenn was born in Wayne County June 16, 1948, to the late Lorenza H. Taylor and Mattie Lee Taylor.
He had worked as a branch manager for Hobart and later operated D. G. Taylor Equipment Co. in Wilmington. Glenn had also worked as the director for Alliance Training Academy.
Glenn is survived by his son, Robert "Bob" Taylor and wife, Kim, of Goldsboro; his daughter, Vickie Joyner of Kinston; his sister, Myde Faircloth of Goldsboro; his brothers, Lionel "Jack" Taylor and Craig Taylor of Goldsboro; and his grandchildren, Kaitlynn Taylor, Cristina Joyner and Brannon Whaley.
The family will receive friends tonight following the service at Seymour Funeral Home and other times at the home of his brother and sister-in-law, Lionel and Mary Taylor, 1015 Old Grantham Road, Goldsboro.
