KINSTON -- Robert John Aker, 56, died Thursday at Lenoir Memorial Hospital in Kinston.
A private service will be held at a later date.
Mr. Aker was born in Elizabeth, N.J., to the late Edward and Helen Crossman Aker.
He is survived by one child.
The family is being served by Howell Funeral Home and Crematory in Goldsboro.
